Who can take part

  • Your baby is a newborn (preterm or full-term)
  • Your baby has confirmed sepsis (serious infection) shown by blood tests, inflammation markers, or blood cultures
  • Your baby may be on a breathing machine or receiving breathing support
  • Your baby does not have other serious conditions like heart defects, genetic disorders, or brain injury from lack of oxygen
  • Your baby was not born to a mother with diabetes
