- You are between 16 and 70 years old
- You have been newly diagnosed with MPAL (mixed phenotype acute leukemia) confirmed by recent blood and bone marrow tests
- You have not received any anti-leukemia chemotherapy before (brief steroid use to manage symptoms is okay)
- Your overall health is good enough to tolerate the treatment, with no severe heart, brain, lung, liver, or kidney disease
- Your heart function is adequate (left ventricular ejection fraction above 40%)
- You do not have a BCR-ABL genetic mutation in your leukemia cells
