How Exercise and Hormones Affect Pain in Women

Who can take part

  • You are assigned female sex at birth and are right-handed
  • You are between 18 and 60 years old
  • You are willing to attend one online session and up to four in-person testing visits
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study
  • You have no history of back, neck, shoulder surgery, joint replacement, or spinal cord injury
  • You have no history of stroke, Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, or other serious neurological conditions
