Who can take part

  • You are between 5 and 18 years old
  • You have a closed fracture (break) in your lower leg or thigh bone (tibia, fibula, femur, or ankle) that was treated without surgery—using a cast, splint, or brace instead
  • You are 4 to 6 weeks past the fracture and your cast or brace has been removed or you're starting movement exercises
  • You can follow instructions and participate in exercise sessions with rhythmic music
  • Your doctor has cleared you for physical therapy and you are medically stable
  • You do not have hearing loss, cognitive difficulties, or other injuries that would make participation unsafe
