This study tests if adding rhythmic music or sounds to special balance and stability exercises helps people recover better from a mild to moderate lateral ankle sprain (an injury to the outer side of the ankle). It may be a good option if your ankle sprain happened 2 to 8 weeks ago and you haven't had ankle surgery before.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 30 years old
  • You have a Grade I or II lateral ankle sprain (mild to moderate) that is 2 to 8 weeks old
  • You have not had ankle surgery in the past
  • You do not have dizziness, nerve problems, or hearing issues
  • You are not currently doing another structured rehab program
  • You have no fractures or other leg injuries, and no conditions like rheumatoid arthritis or gout
