Fast infection diagnosis test for critically ill sepsis patients

Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older and admitted to ICU within the last 24 hours
  • Have sepsis (a serious infection causing body inflammation) diagnosed by specific medical criteria
  • Have an unknown infection that requires blood, fluid, or other specimen testing
  • Be expected to stay in ICU for at least 48 hours and available for 28 days of follow-up
  • Sign a consent form (you or a legal representative) agreeing to the test
