Who can take part
- Your child has had a cough for more than 4 weeks continuously
- Your child is generally healthy and doesn't take daily medicines for any chronic condition
- Your child has never been diagnosed with a condition known to cause prolonged cough
- A doctor has examined your child and found no signs of an underlying disease causing the cough
- Your child has not had a severe allergic reaction to fluticasone (inhaled steroid) or amoxicillin-clavulanic acid (an antibiotic)
- Your family speaks and reads Finnish well enough to provide informed consent
