Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes
- You are currently using a Libre-2, Libre-3, Dexcom G6, or Dexcom G7 glucose monitor
- You are having planned elective surgery at Nottingham University Hospitals
- You are at least 4 years old
- You have not taken high-dose paracetamol, hydroxyurea, or large amounts of vitamin C in the week before surgery
- You are not currently enrolled in another clinical trial involving medications
