Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 40 years old
  • You live in the United States
  • You own a smartphone (iPhone or Android) with GPS capability and carry it with you every day
  • You have smoked at least 100 cigarettes in your lifetime and currently smoke at least 3 cigarettes per day on 5 or more days per week
  • You plan to quit smoking within the next 30 days
  • You are willing to let the research team access your phone's location data for 44 days
