Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old and have been newly diagnosed with follicular lymphoma (Grade 1, 2, or 3a), confirmed by a biopsy
- Your doctor believes you need treatment and you meet specific blood counts: white blood cells ≥3.5, neutrophils >1.0, platelets >75, hemoglobin >80
- Your liver and kidney function are adequate: liver enzymes and bilirubin no more than twice the normal limit, kidney function clearance >50
- You have at least one measurable tumor visible on imaging (lymph node >1.5 cm, other lesion >1.0 cm) or by physical exam (>2 cm)
- You are in reasonably good health overall (able to carry out normal daily activities with some limitations) and can provide written consent
- You do not have serious heart disease, active infections, hepatitis, or nerve damage, and are not pregnant or breastfeeding
