Who can take part

  • Age 3 years or older (5 years or older for some conditions)
  • Confirmed diagnosis of one of these diseases: systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), hard-to-treat kidney disease (SRNS), IgA nephropathy, scleroderma, or vasculitis
  • Disease is severe or not responding to standard treatments despite adequate therapy for at least 3 months
  • Heart, lung, liver, and kidney function must meet minimum standards (unless related to your autoimmune disease)
  • No active infections, cancer, HIV, hepatitis B or C, or other conditions that would make the treatment unsafe
  • If female and able to have children: willing to use birth control for 12+ months during and after treatment
