TMS treatment for OCD: brain imaging study

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

This study tests whether repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can help people with OCD. You will get rTMS while having brain scans (PET and MRI) to see how it affects your symptoms. It's a chance to learn more about your OCD and possibly find relief.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
  • Your OCD symptoms are at least mild to moderate (score of 14 or higher on a standard OCD scale).
  • You do not have metal implants in your body, like a pacemaker or brain stimulator.
  • You are not pregnant, and you have no history of serious mental illness like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.
