  • You are scheduled for surgery with a planned hospital stay of about 23 hours
  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You speak English fluently
  • You do not have neurological conditions (like dementia, stroke, or severe Parkinson's) that would make it hard to participate
  • You do not have hearing or vision problems that would prevent you from understanding study instructions
