Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You need arthroscopic (minimally invasive) rotator cuff repair surgery on your shoulder
  • You have a full-thickness tear in only the supraspinatus tendon (one specific rotator cuff muscle)
  • Your tear is primary (first time this specific tendon has torn) and not massive or irreparable
  • You have not had previous surgery on the affected shoulder
  • You can commit to post-surgery rehabilitation exercises and follow-up clinic visits
