Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old
- You need arthroscopic (minimally invasive) rotator cuff repair surgery on your shoulder
- You have a full-thickness tear in only the supraspinatus tendon (one specific rotator cuff muscle)
- Your tear is primary (first time this specific tendon has torn) and not massive or irreparable
- You have not had previous surgery on the affected shoulder
