Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • Your rotator cuff tear is small (less than 1 cm) or medium (1 to 3 cm).
  • You have had shoulder pain or trouble using your shoulder for at least 3 months despite non-surgical treatments.
  • You have not had a steroid or hyaluronic acid injection into the shoulder in the last 3 months.
  • You do not have other shoulder problems like instability, labral tears, or large tendon retraction.
