Who can take part

  • Age-related cataracts in both eyes that need surgery
  • Surgery will be performed by the same surgeon using either laser-assisted or standard cataract removal
  • Both eyes expected to have good vision (20/25 or better) after surgery
  • No other significant eye diseases like macular degeneration, glaucoma, or retinal problems
  • No prior eye surgeries (including LASIK or similar procedures)
  • Willing to attend all study visits and sign consent form
