Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have erectile dysfunction (difficulty getting or keeping an erection) that occurs in at least half your sexual encounters
  • You do not have a penile implant or prosthesis
  • You are able to understand and follow study procedures, including attending appointments and answering questionnaires
  • You have no untreated serious mental health conditions like psychosis or bipolar disorder
  • You are in overall good enough health that sexual activity is safe for you

This trial compares two treatments for erectile dysfunction (ED): platelet-rich plasma (PRP, made from your own blood) alone, or PRP combined with low-intensity shock wave therapy (sound waves applied to the penis).
