Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 or older)
  • You have a confirmed Stenotrophomonas maltophilia infection from a hospital stay
  • You were hospitalized for at least 72 hours from when your infection was identified
  • Your infection is not mixed with other bacteria
  • You received appropriate antibiotics for at least 48 hours after diagnosis
  • Your medical team has complete records of your treatment and outcomes
