Who can take part

  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 25 and 35, which is in the overweight or obesity range.
  • If you are female, you must not be able to become pregnant (for example, because of menopause or surgery).
  • You have not had a change in your weight of more than 11 pounds in the last 3 months.
  • You do not have a history of type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
  • You do not have a history of serious heart, lung, liver, kidney, stomach, hormone, blood, mental health, or nerve problems.
