Who can take part
- Age 18–80 years old
- One lung nodule that is 2 cm or smaller on a recent CT scan
- Able to have minimally invasive chest surgery (video-assisted thoracoscopy)
- Generally healthy enough for surgery (ECOG score 0–2, meaning you can do daily activities with little or no limitation)
- No previous major chest surgery or serious chest infections that caused scarring
- Able to complete follow-up visits after the procedure
