Who can take part

  • You must be 12–17 years old and of Chinese ethnicity
  • You have moderate-to-severe allergic rhinitis (hay fever or year-round allergies) that affects your sleep, schoolwork, sports, or daily activities
  • You've had a positive allergy test (skin prick test or blood test) in the past year showing you're allergic to something in your environment
  • You have active allergy symptoms on the day you join the study
  • You're willing to stop allergy medications for a few days to weeks before starting and to keep a daily diary during the trial
  • You must not be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study
