Who can take part
- You identify as a Black or West African male, age 18 or older
- You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer (either localized, spread to other areas, or come back locally)
- You are not currently taking vitamin D or multivitamin supplements with more than 400 IU of vitamin D daily
- You do not have severe kidney or liver disease
- You can travel to University of Ilorin Surgery Outpatient Department for visits at the start and after 8 weeks
- You have not had a history of high calcium levels in your blood (hypercalcemia)
