Who can take part

  • You identify as a Black or West African male, age 18 or older
  • You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer (either localized, spread to other areas, or come back locally)
  • You are not currently taking vitamin D or multivitamin supplements with more than 400 IU of vitamin D daily
  • You do not have severe kidney or liver disease
  • You can travel to University of Ilorin Surgery Outpatient Department for visits at the start and after 8 weeks
  • You have not had a history of high calcium levels in your blood (hypercalcemia)
