Body Awareness and Exercise Therapy for Teen Rounded Shoulders

Who can take part

  • You are between 10 and 18 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with excessive forward rounding of the upper spine (kyphosis angle of 40 degrees or more)
  • You do not have a rigid or congenital spinal condition like Scheuermann's kyphosis
  • You have not had major spine surgery, serious spine injury, or other significant bone/joint problems
  • You do not have a neurological or inner-ear disease that affects balance or movement
  • You are not currently wearing a spinal brace or corrective device, and have not done formal posture therapy in the last 6 months
