Who can take part

  • You previously had a blood pressure change of 10 mmHg or more when switching between high-salt and low-salt diets
  • You are at least 18 years old and able to understand and consent to the study
  • You do not have diabetes, autoimmune diseases, or recent infections
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or unwilling to use strong birth control if you can become pregnant
  • You have not had a heart attack or stroke in the past 6 months
  • You are willing to follow a controlled salt diet and wear a 24-hour blood pressure monitor
