  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • Your sitting blood pressure (top number) is between 140 and 179 mmHg.
  • Your high blood pressure is not well controlled with your current medications, or it is resistant to treatment.
  • You are willing to take the study drug and follow the study schedule.
  • You agree to use birth control if needed.
