Who can take part

  • Be a woman over 18 years old
  • Have been diagnosed with frozen shoulder by a doctor (Part 1) or diagnosed within the last 12 months (Part 2)
  • For Part 2: be between ages 40–60 and in or around menopause (based on your own assessment)
  • Not have diabetes or thyroid problems
  • Not be taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or other medications that affect hormones or metabolism
  • Not have frozen shoulder from an injury or trauma
