Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with Siewert Type II adenocarcinoma (a specific type of cancer where the stomach meets the esophagus)
- Your cancer is locally advanced and can be surgically removed (stages cT3-4aN1-3M0)
- Your tumor has low, moderate, or no HER2 protein expression (not HER2-positive)
- You are between 18 and 75 years old and in good enough health for surgery and chemotherapy (ECOG score 0-1)
- Your blood counts and organ function (liver, kidney, heart) are normal or near-normal
- You have not received previous immunotherapy targeting PD-1, PD-L1, or similar pathways
