Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have a type of stomach or esophagus cancer called adenocarcinoma that is at the junction of the esophagus and stomach (Siewert type II).
- Your cancer has grown into nearby layers but has not spread to distant parts of the body (stage T3-4a, N1-3, M0).
- Your cancer is not HER2-positive (a specific protein marker) — it can be low, negative, or have a specific intermediate result.
- You are generally able to perform daily activities (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- You have not had previous treatment with PD-1, PD-L1, or similar immunotherapy drugs.
