Who can take part
- Your child is between 3 and 8 years old.
- Your child is scheduled for hip surgery on one side only.
- Your child is generally healthy or has mild to moderate health conditions (ASA I–III).
- A parent or legal guardian must give written permission.
- Your child does not have any condition that prevents them from getting spinal anesthesia or the study pain block.
