Who can take part

  • Your teen is between 13 and 17.5 years old
  • Your teen has a confirmed genetic diagnosis of Prader-Willi syndrome
  • Your teen speaks fluent English and can use full phrases or longer speech
  • Your teen experiences clinically significant emotional dysregulation (difficulty managing emotions)
  • Your family can commit to weekly 90-minute group sessions for your teen and twice-weekly 90-minute sessions for you (one virtual, one in-person)
  • Any psychiatric medications or outside behavioral therapies must stay stable during the study—no new ones can start
