Hip Labral Repair vs. Reconstruction Surgery for Adults Over 40

Femoral Acetabular Impingement

Who can take part

  • You are over 40 years old
  • You have hip impingement (abnormal bone shape in the hip socket or ball) confirmed by imaging
  • You have tried at least 3 months of conservative treatment (physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medications) without adequate relief
  • You do not have moderate to severe arthritis in the affected hip
  • You have not had previous surgery on this hip
  • You are willing and able to follow up for 2 years after surgery
