Testing a New Glue-Like Gel for Eye Surgery

Who can take part

  • You have an eye surface disease (such as pterygium, corneal ulcer, ocular surface burn, or similar condition) that requires conjunctival flap, amniotic membrane transplant, or corneal transplant surgery
  • You are between 18 and 85 years old
  • You can read and sign an informed consent form and agree to participate voluntarily
  • You do not have severe heart, liver, kidney disease, or cancer
  • You do not have a history of allergies to the gel components (porcine corneal matrix, GelMA) or common perioperative drugs (anesthetics, antibiotics, steroids)
  • You do not have untreated or active systemic infections (bacterial, fungal, or viral infections including hepatitis B or C)
