Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with primary gastric lymphoma (a lymph-cell cancer starting in the stomach) that is stage I, II, or IIE
  • Your doctor believes radiation therapy is the right treatment for you, either as your main treatment or after chemotherapy
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You are in good enough health to tolerate radiation (ECOG performance status 0–1, meaning you can do most normal activities)
  • Your heart, liver, kidneys, and blood counts are working well enough for this treatment
  • You have not had radiation to your belly or pelvis in the last 3 years
