  • Baby was born at 36 weeks of pregnancy or later (term or near-term birth)
  • Baby weighed more than 2 kg (about 4.4 lbs) at birth
  • Mother was at least 19 years old during pregnancy
  • Baby's APGAR score (a health check right after birth) was 7 or higher at 5 minutes
  • Baby has no major birth defects or genetic conditions
  • Baby did not need breathing assistance in the delivery room
