Who can take part
- BMI (body mass index) between 27 and 40 kg/m², or BMI 30–40 with no weight-related health conditions required
- If BMI is 27–29.9, you must have at least one weight-related health problem (like diabetes or high blood pressure)
- No previous stomach surgeries or weight-loss procedures of any kind
- Not currently taking obesity medications; must have stopped at least 3 months before joining
- No severe stomach inflammation, ulcers, stomach cancer, or bleeding disorders
- Not pregnant
