Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You have type 2 diabetes with moderate-to-high heart disease risk (SCORE2-Diabetes score above 10%)
- You have stable chest pain (angina) and narrowing in at least one heart artery (50–90% blockage)
- Your kidneys function reasonably well (eGFR of 45 or higher)
- You have not had heart surgery, stent placement, or a pacemaker implanted
- Your diabetes and heart medications have been stable for at least 4 weeks
