Who can take part
- You had elective (planned, non-emergency) brain surgery and developed a fluid pocket (pseudomeningocele) under your scalp as a result
- The fluid pocket is noticeable by touch and moderately sized (Palpation Scale II-IV), but you don't have severe pain (less than 7 out of 10)
- This is your first brain or spine surgery—you've had no prior cranial or spinal procedures
- You do not have an active infection at the fluid pocket site
- You are able to give informed consent and willing to participate
- You don't have severe health conditions (like terminal illness or organ failure) that would prevent safe participation
