Who can take part
- You had a surgery on one side of your skull (called a decompressive craniectomy) after a traumatic brain injury
- You developed fluid buildup under the outer covering of your brain for the first time, and this happened within 30 days after your skull surgery
- The fluid is only on one side of your brain (either on the same side as the surgery or the opposite side)
- The fluid has not gone away or shrunk with non-surgical treatments, and your doctor thinks surgery is needed
- You agree to join the study and sign a consent form
