Who can take part
- Your child has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for at least 6 months
- Your child can read and doesn't have cognitive or awareness problems that would prevent them from understanding the study
- A family caregiver spends at least 6 hours per day caring for your child
- Your child's caregiver is alert, mentally clear, and able to answer survey questions
- Your child is not currently in a medical crisis (like a serious infection, recent surgery, or severe diabetes complication) that would make participation difficult
- Your child and caregiver have not already participated in this same survey
