Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have had diabetes for at least a year and use either multiple daily insulin injections or an insulin pump
  • You use a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) and wear it for more than 70% of the time in the last 4 weeks
  • You are not planning to start new diabetes medications or an automated insulin system in the next 6 months
  • Your glucose levels are unstable (high variation and low time in range)
  • You are willing to have two ultrasound scans of your insulin injection sites
