Who can take part
- 18 years or older and can sign consent forms
- Scheduled for a heart device implant or replacement (pacemaker, defibrillator, or resynchronization device)

- Diagnosed with atrial fibrillation or flutter with a CHA₂DS₂-VASc risk score of 2 or higher
- No active infection, severe bleeding, or very low platelet count
