Who can take part
- You had the left atrial appendage closure procedure with an approved device (Amplatzer or WATCHMAN) within the last 37 days
- After your closure, you took two blood-thinner medicines (clopidogrel plus aspirin) until you are randomized
- You are age 18 or older and willing to follow the exact study treatment plan
- You can and will sign the study consent form
- You do NOT need long-term anticoagulation (blood thinners) for another condition during the study (for example, a planned blood clot treatment)
- You do NOT have major bleeding risks shown on scans (for example, a large leak around the device, or a clot seen after the procedure)
