Probiotics to support brain development in premature babies

Who can take part

  • Your baby was born between 28 and 37 weeks early (not full-term)
  • Your baby received IV antibiotics for at least 5 days while in the hospital after birth
  • Your baby is now about 6 months old (corrected age, meaning adjusted for prematurity)
  • Your baby has not taken antibiotics in the last 2 weeks before starting the study
  • You can commit to giving the study supplement for 6 months and attending follow-up visits
  • Your baby does not have major birth defects, serious brain injuries, or severe heart or digestive problems
