Who can take part
- You had a stroke at least several months ago (chronic stroke, not recent)
- You can stand alone for at least 20 seconds and walk 10 meters, with or without a cane or brace
- You score 24 or higher on a mental clarity test (Mini-Mental State Examination)
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- Your blood pressure is controlled (not higher than 140/90 mmHg, or you take blood pressure medicine)
- You do not have serious heart, lung, liver, kidney, or bone/spine disease
