Spinal Manipulation for Stroke Recovery

Who can take part

  • You had a stroke at least several months ago (chronic stroke, not recent)
  • You can stand alone for at least 20 seconds and walk 10 meters, with or without a cane or brace
  • You score 24 or higher on a mental clarity test (Mini-Mental State Examination)
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • Your blood pressure is controlled (not higher than 140/90 mmHg, or you take blood pressure medicine)
  • You do not have serious heart, lung, liver, kidney, or bone/spine disease
