Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
- You need to have type 2 diabetes or be diagnosed with at least one of: obesity, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or high fasting blood sugar.
- A recent liver biopsy or a special liver scan must show significant liver scarring (stage 2 or 3) and liver fat buildup.
- You must have a liver fat measurement over 10% from an MRI scan done recently.
- If you take medications for weight, blood sugar, or cholesterol, you must have been on the same dose for at least 3 months before the trial.
- Your weight must have been stable (within 5%) for the last 2 months.
