Who can take part

  • Confirmed glioblastoma (grade 4 brain tumor) that has come back after standard treatment
  • At least 12 weeks since completing initial surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy (temozolomide)
  • Your tumor must be in a location and size suitable for laser treatment, as determined by your neurosurgeon
  • At least 18 years old with adequate blood counts and organ function (liver, kidney, blood clotting)
  • Good enough overall health and function to tolerate the procedure and study drugs (Karnofsky score ≥60%)
  • Willing to use effective birth control for 4 months after the study (or longer depending on which treatment arm)
