Who can take part

  • Male partner is between 21–55 years old and has low sperm count or poor movement (male factor infertility)
  • Female partner (if using own eggs) is between 21–35 years old; if using donor eggs, recipient must be 21–35
  • Sperm sample has at least 2 million moving sperm per milliliter and at least 1.2 mL volume
  • You have not had sperm DNA fragmentation testing done before
  • You can abstain from ejaculation for 2–3 days before the ICSI procedure
  • No severe male infertility (no sperm present), uncontrolled diabetes, or recent antioxidant supplements (past 6 months)
