Study of How Breathing Tubes and Patients Work Together

Mechanical VentilationPatient-Ventilator Asynchrony

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You were on a breathing machine (mechanical ventilation) in the hospital for at least 24 hours
  • The hospital has recordings of the breathing machine's activity linked to your medical records from that time
  • You (or your family) have not objected to researchers using your clinical data for studies
  • You agree to let researchers use your existing hospital data for this research
