- You have a diagnosis of spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lung), pleural effusion (fluid around the lungs), or pleural infection (infection of the lung lining)
- Your condition was not caused by trauma or injury (including procedures)
- You do not have hemothorax (blood around the lungs)
- You can be enrolled at Zealand University Hospital or a participating center in Denmark
