Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a collapsed lung seen on X-ray or CT scan, with an underlying lung disease.
  • The collapsed lung happened on its own (not from an injury or medical procedure).
  • You have had an air leak for at least 3 days after the collapsed lung was found.
  • Your doctor plans to use talc or a blood patch as the next step to stop the leak.
