Who can take part
- You are scheduled to have ear tube insertion surgery
- You are at least 6 months old
- Your ear canal opening is at least 4 millimeters wide
- Your eardrum is healthy without perforation, scarring, or significant retraction
- You do not have current ear infection, ear skin infection, or ear fluid with blood
- You can follow study procedures and attend follow-up appointments
